Page Chosen as October Student Spotlight Winner
Every
month the Office of Student Services with the College of Optometry
seeks nomination from the faculty, staff, and students of the college in
an effort to recognize one student who exemplifies our student body.
This month's recipient is a true reflection on what we look for in a
student at UMSL College of Optometry.
The Student Spotlight for October 2015 is:
Logan Page (Class of 2018)
Logan Page Class of 2018 (C)JW Photography |
Logan
is very involved with UMSL activities such as being an ambassador and MOSA. He
has been very welcoming to the 1st year students and seems very involved with
his own classmates.
He
really wants to get to know all of his classmates - both older and younger.
Logan’s an ambassador, so he has a hand in picking future optometry family
members! He's an all-around good person. He gets his work done on time and
still puts a lot of effort into his other activities.
When
I think of someone who has really made me feel welcome at UMSL (student-wise) I
think of Logan. He always stops to talk when he sees you, he is very involved,
and he has a great outlook on life!
Currently
involved in MOSA (President-Elect), Intramurals, and is a Student Ambassador
for the College of Optometry.
Logan
chose UMSL because of the friendly students and helpful professors!
Congratulations Logan on being the UMSL|Optometry October 2015 Student Spotlight winner!!!
Congratulations Logan! We are always so proud of your dedication to your family, friends and future career. You work hard, love deeply and live life to the fullest, you are going to be a wonderful doctor and an asset to your community.
